Cold and Flu Prevention
We have found that our company policy regarding Cold and Flu Prevention significantly Reduces Sick Days of our Cleaners and also for our Clients. Everyone wins.
We clean with your your health in mind Earth Friendly requires that Our House keepers Stay Home if they have a contagious cold or temperature. If this occurs we will arrange for another house keeper to clean or reschedule another cleaning visit.
Our service like wise requires our clients to please advise us if you are Home and still in the high fever stage of your Cold or Flu. We will reschedule your appointment at No Fee and clean when you are better.
Should you Not be at Home but are Currently Sick, then please advise our office so that we can tell our housekeepers to take extra precautions and wear Flu Masks and Gloves in your home while they clean. We will be sure to use our natural botanical disinfectants on door handles, light switches and hard surface areas.

Booking
To book an appointment with us you are required to provide an up to date credit card or debit card that our credit card processor will encrypt. Depending on the type and size of your clean a $35, $50, $75 deposit fee will be needed to officially reserve your cleaning on our calendar. Your deposit goes towards the balance due of your service fee. The credit card will be charged your deposit to reserve your cleaning appointment.
Arrival Times
We will arrive with in a window of time within 1 - 2 hr of set appointment. Housekeepers tend to arrive on time or with 30 minutes of the appointment. However, sometimes just going 15 miles can take 1 hour in rush hour traffic EFMS reserves the right to arrive earlier or later than the estimated arrival time due to circumstances beyond our control such as traffic conditions, ect. We would like the flexibility to arrive and depart between 1 -2 hours of your original appointment if needed or reschedule should we have encounter bad traffic or a serious car problem delay us. For your convenience we will give you text message and or e-mail notifications of our updated arrival time and follow up with a message regarding that we have finished cleaning and have departed. If we arrive on time for a scheduled service to find we are unable to access your home, after trying to make arrangements with you to let us in, we reserve the right to charge a lock out fee equal to 1/3 the cost of the cleaning. We encourage all our clients to issue us keys or use a combination lock box on their front door so that lock-outs will not be an issue.
Privacy Policy
We respect your privacy. We will not share your information with any random individual, company, or organization.
Cancellation Policy
We turn away other business while we have you on the calendar. For new clients if you cancel less than 48 hours before a scheduled start time, it is possible that you may incur a $40 late cancellation fee If our house keepers arrive to your house and you never canceled your appointment Earth Friendly will go ahead and bill you for the entire job and reschedule your prepaid cleaning to a future date. We do this so our house keepers won't lose hours on their paycheck because you forgot to cancel You will have credit for a future housecleaning with Earth Friendly and our house keepers will earn their hours.
Non Solicitation Agreement
Our clients may not solicit our members of our cleaning team to be contracted or employed by you or your affiliations for cleaning services of any kind. We have invested considerable time and money on boarding each house keeper. We spend hours running background and reference checks, and we spend several weeks personally eco green clean training each cleaning team member so they live up to Earth Friendly Maid Service's standards. If we discover our clients are soliciting our employees and or cleaning team members we will cease doing business with such client. If we find our cleaning team members aking any solicited assignments they will lose all earned and all other company benefits as violation of our non-compete agreement made with each cleaning team member and they will be terminated.
If you would like to hire/contract one of our workers to work independently for you or your affiliates as your permanent housekeeper on a part-time or full time basis , you may request such arrangement by informing our office in writing. We can also pre-screen, interview, and train a new housekeeper just for you. Earth Friendly Maid Service, LLC charges a one time agency placement fee of $1,500 - $3000.
Not Included in our Cleanings
· Handling of pet feces
· Cleaning outside of windows
· Lifting of or moving of heavy furniture items
· Cleaning inside of toilets without a proper toilette brush
· Stepping on kitchen counters to clean the top of cabinets – you must provide safe step stool or ladder
· Cleaning homes that have been infested with bed bugs
· Please note our vacuums cannot remove extra heavy plaster dust or dust right after removing "cottage cheese" acoustic ceilings. Your contractor must clean and remove heavy plaster remodeling debris as much as possible with a shop vac before we get there.
Regarding Cat Litter Boxes
Cleaning Cat litter boxes is not required of our employees and or cleaning team and we leave this up to the individual cleaner. This is to prevent health risks for our cleaners and or those who may be pregnant.
The 2 most common and serious risks are the toxoplasmosis parasite and the E. Coli bacteria.

Earth Friendly Maid Service considers cleaning a cat box to be an optional service - entirely up to individual housekeeper and not to be expected.

YOU UNDERSTAND LATE CANCELLATIONS and NON-ENTRY FEES WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE CHARGED TO THE CREDIT CARD YOU HAVE ON FILE WITH EARTH FRIENDLY MAID SERVICE . FOR RE-OCCURRING CLIENTS YOUR CARD MAY BE CHARGED 1 to 3 BUSINESS DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR CLEANING APPOINTMENT. FOR NEW CLIENTS YOUR CARD WILL BE CHARGED A DEPOSIT FEE OR ENTIRE SERVICE FEE IF A DISCOUNT HAS BEEN GIVEN BY US.
